I actually brought my camera to this beer fest, but I only took two pics. We hit the fifth annual Fresh Hop Festival today. Last year this was a great low key event, but this year was a damn zoo. There were some great beers, but the lines were way too long and way too close together. Double Mountain from Hood River was the strongest showing I tired. Laurelwood, Rogue, and Roots were all good too. The weather was great as you can see from the sun in the background, and we had friends around to make the waits more bearable. There is one more festival and one big tasting left in the year round beer-stravaganza that is Portland.
