Spring?
Colin and I were out enjoying the nice weather while it lasts. The forecast calls fro a return to our usual drab so we went to the park to run around while the grass is only squishy and not soggy. Earlier we were in the back yard and Colin was fishing in our fountain (using a long stick to pull out the leaves). Soon we’ll be able to get him a rod and try and get some trout out of the stocked lake at the park. Today there were at least a dozen people fishing, but it didn’t look like anyone was having any luck.

yeah, we are supposed to be getting a full week of rain up here in Seattle, so I imagine the Portland scene is going to be similar.
I remember that pond you are talking about. While I am not sure about the actual catching of fish, the process of fishing might be fun for Colin :)
Best way to catch trout... simple, weight, swivel, and nightcrawler. All that fancy stuff doesn't work. :)
Hey - I just noticed Colin's pen tattoos. Very fancy! Abby prefers decorating her belly with ink!
